Krasnodar entrepreneur Alexander Barashkov announced that he is submitting a statement to leave the party "New People" after it removed him from the elections to the State Duma in a single-mandate district.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the party "New People" called the actions of the candidate for the State Duma in the 51st electoral district Alexander Barashkov politically damaging and removed him from the elections. Barashkov's party colleagues suggested that the reason for this decision was the candidate's desire to organize independent monitoring in his district.

Barashkov announced his departure from the party on the Telegram channel of his company "Gagarin. Laboratory of Electronics". He addressed his statement to State Duma deputy from "New People" Vladislav Davankov, indicating that he is his assistant.

"On Monday, you will receive my statement about leaving the party and withdrawing from the lists. You were dull on this and missed this moment in your "decision" to remove me from the 51st district in Krasnodar Krai. My emotions are raging right now, but I want to apologize to the people. I am only upset about one thing - I could have bought or made a lot of necessary supplies for the guys on the front with the money spent," he writes.

Alexander Barashkov is a major entrepreneur from Krasnodar. He started as a franchisee of the courier service SDEK in Russia. His design bureau "Gagarin" specializes in comprehensive security solutions: development and serial production of drone detection and counteraction systems; creation of specialized communication means; production of a range of innovative devices used both in the area of the special military operation at the line of combat contact and in the civilian market for the protection of infrastructure facilities, reported "Rosbalt" on August 3.

In Kuban, elections to the State Duma will take place in nine electoral districts.
