The investigation of the case against Zaur Dadaev, Shagid Gubashev, Anzor Gubashev, Temerlan Eskerkhanov and Khamzat Bakhaev, accused of killing Boris Nemtsov, is over. They are accused of committing the murder for hire in an organized grouping, and of illegal acquisition, carrying, transportation and storage of firearms (points "g and h", Part 2, Article 105, and Part 3, Article 222, of the Russian Criminal Code). The maximum penalty under these articles is life imprisonment.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 30, the Toponymy Commission of Saint Petersburg voiced an initiative to name an unnamed bridge over the Dudergof Channel after Akhmat Kadyrov. On June 16, it was officially announced that Georgy Poltavchenko, Governor of Saint Petersburg, signed a decree on naming of the bridge.
