The report on the slowdown in fuel price growth in Ingushetia has caused irritation among users.

Over the past week, diesel prices have decreased, while gasoline prices have risen slightly, with food prices continuing to grow, according to statistics from Ingushetia. Prices are rising for everything, and gasoline is no exception, users of social media noted.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", to combat the rise in fuel prices in Ingushetia, the reasons for each case of supply disruptions will be investigated, along with the stages of the problem's emergence and ways to resolve it, authorities reported. Local residents, commenting on this report on social media, doubted the effectiveness of the stated measures and pointed out that the rise in fuel prices has already occurred. On September 11, the authorities of Ingushetia acknowledged the problems with fuel in the region. At a meeting of the operational headquarters, officials discussed the operation of gas stations, volumes and schedules of supplies, availability of fuel, and retail prices.

The North Caucasus Statistics published data on fuel prices in Ingushetia from September 15 to 21 today. According to the data for the week, the price of diesel fuel in the republic was 77.34 rubles, which is 96.93% of the price a week earlier.

Gasoline AI-92 - 99.59 rubles, which is 101.94% compared to the data a week earlier. AI-95 - 105.53 rubles, which is 102.52%, AI-98 and above - 102.43 rubles - 103.49%.

In Ingushetia, prices in August 2026 compared to July increased by 0.3%, according to a study by Rosstat and the Bank of Russia, excerpts from which are published by "Fortanga".

Eggs have risen in price the most. This is due to the lack of industrial egg production in the republic and high logistics costs. The prices of cleaning and washing products have also increased. Producers' and suppliers' costs have risen, including for product delivery.

Prices for sugar have also increased (over 12 months, sugar has risen in price by 5.43%) and meat products have become more expensive. The prices for poultry meat have risen the most – poultry farms have transferred increased costs for packaging, logistics, and labor to the price. Over the year, the cost of poultry meat has increased by 8.47%.

The department stated that the growth of motor fuel prices in the republic has allegedly slowed down; previously, in mid-September, the rise in gasoline prices in Ingushetia was the highest in Russia. As noted by Rosstat, price changes for gasoline were recorded in 36 regions, with the highest increase in Ingushetia (+12.6 percent).

Recall that on September 8, Ingush drivers reported that gasoline at gas stations in Ingushetia is sold without queues at a price of up to 120 rubles per liter, while for cheaper fuel, motorists had to wait in line for hours. Drivers also complained about the lack of what they believe to be proper control over fuel prices.

On June 27, residents of Ingushetia complained on social media about rising prices and the lack of gasoline at some local gas stations. At some gas stations, there were restrictions on fuel dispensing, and at one network, gasoline was sold by coupons.
