Law enforcement officers detained three local residents in Volgograd who filmed the aftermath of a missile attack on one of the industrial enterprises. The video was circulated in city communities on social media and published publicly, reports V1.RU.

The detainees, two young men and a girl, were forced by law enforcement to repent in front of the camera. The faces of all three are hidden in the recording.

“I saw a fire, the aftermath of a UAV, filmed it, went home, and posted it online. From now on, I promise not to film UAV arrivals anymore, and I also do not recommend other citizens to film such videos. I deeply regret and apologize for filming the UAV arrival,” said one of the detainees.

Although the law enforcement message mentions filming the aftermath of a missile attack, all three detainees only refer to UAVs. The missile danger regime in Volgograd region was last declared on September 15, the publication notes.

“At night we heard a drone flying, then we saw a fire. We filmed it and decided to post it publicly. From now on, I promise not to film UAV arrivals anymore. I do not recommend other citizens to film such videos,” says the girl in front of the camera.

The third detainee assured that he did not personally film the video but shared a recording sent by an acquaintance. “A friend sent a video in our group chat, the aftermath of the UAV arrival. I sent it to social groups in our city, forwarded it. I promise never to forward these videos again and do not recommend anyone to forward them or film them. I regret what I did,” he stated.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that at least three people were detained after their recordings of the missile attack on Volgograd at the end of June were posted online. In a conversation with law enforcement, which was published by local media, the detainees apologized. The coercion to apologize from the authors of the video about the attack on the Volgograd factory is an unofficial punishment aimed at manipulating public opinion.
