27 drones were shot down in two regions of the Southern Federal District.

Last night, the military shot down 16 drones in the Volgograd Region and 11 in the Rostov Region. Two more drones were neutralized over the Black Sea.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," vegetation fires broke out in the Volgograd and Rostov Regions last night as a result of drone attacks. Residents of three villages in the Rostov Region were left without power.

Last night, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 117 Ukrainian drones, including 16 in the Volgograd Region and 11 in the Rostov Region, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the publication, two more drones were shot down over the Black Sea. The remaining drones were neutralized in the Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, Belgorod, Leningrad, Kaluga, Novgorod, and Smolensk regions, as well as in Crimea.

As a reminder, drone attacks were recorded in three districts of the Rostov Region on October 1. As a result, a fire broke out at an industrial facility, and residents of several villages were left without power. Electricity was supplied to their homes through a backup system, the governor reported.

On September 24, two people suffered shrapnel wounds in the village of Bazkovskaya, Sholokhovsky District, as a result of a drone attack. They were taken to the hospital.
