Today, the jury of the Moscow City Court has acquitted two defendants accused of preparing an attempt on President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, thus finding the third figurant in the case to be guilty.

The Armenian militaries Grant Markosyan, Arthur Vartevyan and Alik Tevosyan, who are in captivity in Azerbaijan, have sent an appeal asking to transfer them to some third country. This was reported by Shain Sailov, Secretary of the State Commission of Azerbaijan for Prisoners of War, Missing Persons and Hostages.

President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has denied the information about the pressure exerted on Anzor, Aslan Maskhadov's son, and his relatives with the aim to force him to return to Chechnya. Mr Kadyrov accused the yellow press of disseminating such news and has noted that "son is not responsible for his father."
