The group of the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of Russia has gathered almost five thousand material evidences of Georgia's attacks on South Ossetia, head of the ICPO Alexander Bastrykin told journalists today.

Tonight, the parliament of Georgia has voted for break of diplomatic relations with Russia and confirmed the status of Russian troops in the territory of the country as "occupational". The decision to convoke an emergency session of the parliament was made in the context of recognition by Russian leadership of Abkhazia's and South Ossetia's independence.

Sergey Gaidukevich, a deputy of the Belarusian Parliament and the leader of the Liberal-Democratic Party of Belarus, has stated that Belarus should follow Russia and recognize Abkhazia's and South Ossetia's independence, as the "Interfax" Agency reports.
