Children from Armenia cannot leave Sochi for three days

Since June 25, 25 members of the band "Hay Art" cannot travel through Georgia to Armenia, since a section of the Georgian Military Road is closed. The children have to raise money to pay for tickets for a "Comet" ship to travel to Batumi, and thus they organize concerts on beaches of Sochi. This was reported by their teachers.

Fire victims from Tsuntin District stop their protest action

In Makhachkala, fire victims from the Tsuntin District have decided to stop their protest action after the meeting with the Deputy Prime Ministers of Dagestan, who promised to pay compensation. Miners of Rostov Region demand to repay wage arrears

In Gukovo, miners and employees of the enterprises of the "Kingcoal" group of companies hold pickets every weekday. "Lezginka" dancer killed in Dagestan

After a conflict, a resident of Dagestan had stabbed Isamudin Radjabov, a member of the ensemble "Lezginka", with knife about 20 times. The suspect surrendered to the police, reports an official from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump. The meeting of Trump, Aliyev and Pashinyan took place on August 8 in Washington. Following the meeting, Pashinyan and Aliyev also signed a joint declaration.
