Karachay-Cherkessia becomes worst region in Southern Russia in life quality rating
Karachay-Cherkessia occupied the last but one place among the regions of Russia in terms of quality of life. The top ten outsiders are also Ingushetia, Kalmykia, and North Ossetia. The best result among the regions of Southern Russia was shown by the Krasnodar Territory, which took the sixth place.

Chechnya has stated accepting documents from believers who wish to make a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. This year, the cost of pilgrimage has grown up by almost 10% and amounts to 3600 US dollars, the Muftiate of Chechnya has informed. Circassian organizations outraged at Russian Ambassador to Turkey's statements about Circassians

HRHF calls on authorities to investigate violence against journalists in Azerbaijan

Residents of Chechnya disbelieve wage growth statistics

Journalist receive murder threat a week after she was beaten up in Grozny
The author of a letter to the editorial board of the "Novaya Gazeta" has threatened the journalist, Elena Milashina, with a "death sentence" for her publications about Chechnya and Ramzan Kadyrov. Chechnya: Assembly of Caucasian Nations urges police to release detained invalid
Ruslan Turaev, a resident of Grozny, disappeared on February 9, and, as his relatives report, law enforcers refused to confirm his detention. They said that without the proper medications, Turaev could fall into coma. Journalists demand to investigate actions of Azerbaijani police
The Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office (PO) has issued a warning of non-compliance with the professional ethics to four journalists because of their participation in the action on February 11. In protest, journalists have torn the PO's notifications into pieces and demanded to investigate the actions of the policemen who interfered with their work.
