Krasnodar residents complained about the lack of clinics in the new areas of the city.

The only pediatric clinic No. 20 in Novoznamenka is set to be moved to the Komsomolsky microdistrict, which means parents will have to take sick children to the doctor across the M-4 "Don" highway, local residents complained. Other Krasnodar residents, commenting on their complaint online, noted that the lack of medical infrastructure is also characteristic of other growing areas of the city.

A resident of Novoznamenka posted a collective complaint from parents on Telegram, stating that there are about 3,500 children in the area and no clinic of their own, and that pediatric clinic No. 20 on Blagoveshchenskaya Street, 6/1 is set to be moved to the Komsomolsky microdistrict. According to the parents, after this, they will have to travel with sick children to the doctor across the M-4 "Don" highway.

The collective complaint from parents was published on September 19 by the Telegram channel "Tupodar Krasnodar," which has about 56,800 subscribers. As of 1:40 PM MSK on September 21, this post had received 176 reactions and 65 comments from users.

The authors of the appeal noted that Novoznamenka is actively being developed, but there is no clinic in the area. They demanded to stop the relocation of pediatric clinic No. 20.

Residents of other areas of Krasnodar, commenting on this publication, shared their difficulties in accessing clinics. "Our house is in the German village area, and our clinic is on Tolbukhina. With the crazy traffic, we have to travel with sick children," wrote Natalya Frolova.

"I have a children's clinic nearby, but there are always two sections for one pediatrician. The appointment time for a child is 12 minutes. Essentially, whether we have a clinic or not..." noted Yulia.

"I have lived on the near western bypass for over five years. There is a branch of the 6th clinic across the road, but they don't take us there. We belong to the clinic on Tolbukhina (previously on Azovskaya, but it's about the same place). You can only get there with a transfer, and the journey takes up to two hours. Complaints have been written, and the response is that a clinic is expected to be built in your area, just be patient. It has been expected since 2019. You will receive the same response. A clinic is planned in the residential complex "First Place," where you will likely be reassigned someday," shared Tatyana.

Commenters linked the problem to the lack of social infrastructure in the new areas of the city. "Well, then it will be impossible to get to pediatricians in the existing clinics at all. Isn't the point of a metropolis's development to ensure that as it expands into new territories, it provides citizens with infrastructure and social institutions?" wrote the user NE.

Commenters placed the responsibility for the lack of social infrastructure on the city authorities and urban planning services. "Citizens can be provided with medical assistance; they didn't buy a hut in the taiga! Urban planners and architects, what are they doing in the city? Isn't it to ensure that the municipality of Krasnodar expands evenly?" asked Vasilisa.

As of 1:40 PM MSK on September 21, there were no comments on the Krasnodar administration's website regarding residents' criticism about the lack of social infrastructure in the new areas of the city.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of the new areas of Krasnodar periodically complain about the lack of social infrastructure.
