Grozny residents used the last day of voting to combine elections with personal matters.

Residents of Grozny reported that they chose different times to vote on the last day of elections based on personal plans: some explained that they came in the morning to then attend to their affairs, while others came after meetings or rest.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 19, residents of Grozny said that they do not plan to use voting as a form of protest or to refuse to show up at polling stations.

A resident of Grozny Milana reported that she came to the polling station on September 20 at 10:00 AM Moscow time. According to her, she chose the morning time so that she could calmly attend to her affairs after voting.

"I will vote and then I won’t have to think all day about whether I will make it to the elections," she told a correspondent from "Caucasian Knot". Milana noted that she did not notice anything unusual during the voting at the station.

A Grozny resident Asya reported that she voted in the evening. She did not specifically choose the time to visit the station: before that, she had been meeting with friends.

"I was meeting with my friends, and when we finished, it was already evening, so I went to vote in the evening," she explained to a correspondent from "Caucasian Knot". Asya also did not notice anything unusual at the station.

A resident of Grozny Amir reported that he voted around 12:00 PM Moscow time. According to him, he chose this time because he wanted to catch up on sleep after the work week.

"Everything at the station was as usual. I also did not see any unusual behavior or crowds of people who came exactly at 12:00," he told a correspondent from "Caucasian Knot".

Amir described participating in the elections as an opportunity to "fulfill his civic duty". Asya and Milana referred to the elections as a "honorable obligation".

As of 08:50 AM Moscow time on September 21, there were no reports of violations during the voting in Chechnya, according to data on the website of the project "Observing Together". The project is positioned as an "independent platform for monitoring the 2026 elections". "We publish data on electoral commissions and violations," the annotation states. Information is transmitted to the project authors by users via Telegram using a bot. "Caucasian Knot" considers this information to require confirmation and does not regard information from users as reports of violations.

Recall that from September 18-20, elections for the head of the republic, local parliament deputies, and municipal campaigns took place in Chechnya, where 41 deputy mandates will be filled.
