Analysts assessed Kadyrov's reports on assistance to the children of Gaza against the backdrop of the elections.

Parents of schoolchildren cannot rely on the help of charitable organizations when preparing their children for school, residents of Chechnya stated. Analysts pointed out that in the republic, reports from Ramzan Kadyrov about helping the children of Gaza are not linked to assistance for local children in preparing for school; however, they believe that Kadyrov is trying to use the image of a defender of Muslims against the backdrop of the elections.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 6, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported on the transfer of 430 school kits to children in three camps in the Gaza Strip.

Expenses for preparing a child for school have noticeably increased this year, said a resident of Chechnya Kheda. According to her, it is difficult to obtain state assistance for low-income families, and charitable organizations are currently not helping families gather their children for school.

"It is even difficult for low-income families to obtain state assistance, and the government is not focused on this. Charitable organizations are not dealing with this either," she told a correspondent from "Caucasian Knot."

The increase in expenses for preparing children for school was also noted by a resident of Chechnya Yunus. According to his estimate, the set of clothes and shoes for his son has increased in price by about 50%, and prices for stationery have also risen. At the same time, history textbooks for Chechnya were issued to children for free.

"Of course, it has become more expensive to dress children. If last year it cost me a certain amount to dress my son - suit, shoes, shirt - this year the price has increased by about 50%. And stationery has become more expensive. The only thing is that history textbooks for Chechen children were issued for free," he told a correspondent from "Caucasian Knot."

Yunus did not oppose the rising costs for Chechen parents to the assistance for the children of Gaza. According to him, even if such actions are demonstrative, Chechen society as a whole supports assistance to the Palestinians.

There are no recent reports on the websites of charitable organizations in Chechnya regarding assistance to parents of schoolchildren

On the websites of five charitable organizations in Chechnya, there is no information about assistance to local residents in preparing their children for school over the past three months (from June 15 to September 15). For instance, on the website of the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation, information was published on June 28 about the 22nd anniversary of the organization, listing various areas of assistance. On July 17, the foundation reported on the restoration of a house in Grozny and support for families affected by a fire. There are no reports of assistance to parents for preparing schoolchildren for the new academic year on the foundation's website during the specified period.

On the website of the "Daimokhk" charitable foundation, it is stated that the organization annually implements the project "Gather a Child for School," under which low-income families in Chechnya receive backpacks, stationery, and school uniforms. However, in the foundation's news feed over the past three months, there are publications from July 20, August 10, and August 28 about the project to assist children with cancer, but there is no report on the "Gather a Child for School" campaign this year.

On the websites of the "Nadezhda" charitable foundation, the non-profit "Pulse of Help" foundation, and the "We Do Not Abandon Our Own" charitable foundation, there is information about areas of work and ways to provide assistance, but there are no reports of assistance to families in Chechnya for preparing children for school.

Support for Palestine in Chechen society maintains a positive perception regardless of residents' attitudes towards the authorities and the electoral campaign, noted political scientist Ruslan Kutaev*.

"The irritation towards the authorities and the special military operation has not gone anywhere, and the elections will not contribute anything new to this. I do not think there can be any changes in the Chechen Republic related to the elections. It remains as tense as it was. But support for Palestine is perceived positively and will continue to be perceived positively," he told a correspondent from "Caucasian Knot."

A human rights activist familiar with the situation in Chechnya also does not believe that residents of the republic seriously oppose assistance to the children of Gaza to the problems of local families.

"I do not think anyone in Chechnya is seriously thinking about this. I have not heard about it at all," he told a correspondent from "Caucasian Knot" on the condition of anonymity.

He doubted that reports of assistance to the schoolchildren of Gaza are indeed an electoral maneuver, but linked them to the formation of Kadyrov's public image.

"This is most likely an attempt to present him as a fighter for the rights of oppressed Muslims. And also to create an image before Arab countries," the human rights activist explained.
