A queue of cars has formed in front of the Crimean Bridge in Kuban.

Drivers of 70 cars are waiting in the Krasnodar region for their turn to cross the automobile bridge over the Kerch Strait.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", starting from November 3, 2025, electric and hybrid vehicles are prohibited from crossing the Crimean Bridge, and drivers are offered an alternative land route along the coast of the Azov Sea - from Taganrog to Dzhankoy. The authorities justified the decision with safety considerations. On the same day, the first 18 fines were issued to electric car drivers who attempted to cross the bridge despite the ban.

As of 17:00 Moscow time, drivers of 70 cars are waiting to cross the Crimean Bridge from the side of Tamani, the information center for roads reported on its Telegram channel about the situation at the approaches to the Crimean Bridge.

"There are no queues from the side of Kerch at the manual inspection point. There are 70 vehicles in the queue for manual inspection from the side of Tamani," the message notes.

According to hourly publications, there were no queues for inspection as of 15:00 Moscow time, but by 16:00 Moscow time, a queue of 50 cars had formed from the side of Tamani.

Recall that on August 18, 2025, security forces discovered an explosive device in a car that arrived from Georgia. According to the FSB, the car was supposed to head to the Krasnodar region and was planned to be used for an explosion on the Crimean Bridge.

On July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, and another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, causing two spans to collapse. Traffic on the bridge was resumed after a month. The FSB stated that the organizer of the terrorist act was the military intelligence of Ukraine. Human rights activists recognized all eight defendants in the bridge explosion case as political prisoners, stating that they are random people. On November 27, 2025, the court sentenced the defendants to life sentences.
