A six-year-old boy from Stavropol fell while riding on amplitude swings with his family in Adygea and sustained serious injuries.

In the Mishoko gorge in the Maykop district of Adygea, a six-year-old boy fell from amplitude swings into a 40-meter ravine. He came from Stavropol with his parents for a vacation.

During a walk in the gorge, the tourists decided to ride on swings set at the edge of the cliff. After the boy, his mother sat on them, and the boy decided to help the woman swing, lost his grip, grabbed the structure, and fell into the abyss due to inertia. The child survived but sustained serious injuries; he has been hospitalized, reports "Yugopolis" on August 30.

The Maykop district prosecutor's office has organized an inspection regarding the child's injury, during which an assessment will be made of compliance with safety requirements in the organization of services, informs "Kommersant".

Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that in 2021, two tourists fell into a ravine from faulty swings in the Sulak canyon. The girls were able to avoid serious injuries only because there was a rocky ledge before the cliff.
