The authorities of Chechnya reported on the preparation of canvassers to inform residents about the elections.

Members of the local election commissions in Chechnya will visit more than 260,000 households to inform residents about the elections for the head of the republic, the authorities reported. In previous election campaigns, local teachers complained that they were required to conduct explanatory work and participate in other events.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 20, 2021, a teacher from the village of Samashki said that educators were forced to write explanations if they did not conduct explanatory work with the parents of students and did not convince them to participate in the voting.

In Chechnya, 2260 members of the local election commissions (LEC) are being prepared for household informing of residents as part of the "InformUIC" project. From September 1 to 15, they are to visit more than 260,000 households, reported "GTRK Vainakh" on August 29.

Training for LEC members is taking place in Argun, Nadterechny, and Sernovodsky districts, as well as in the Visaitovsky district of Grozny, reported "The Bulletin of the Election Commission of Chechnya" on its website on August 29.

During the apartment and household canvassing, LEC members will inform residents about the dates and procedures for voting, the progress of the campaign, the parties and candidates participating in the elections, the address and contacts of their local commission, as well as the days, location, and available forms of voting.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that budget employees in Chechnya had previously complained about mandatory participation in events related to voting. For instance, on July 1, 2020, a primary school teacher from one of the schools in the Achkhoy-Martan district described the duty schedules for educators at polling stations. According to her, teachers were on duty from June 25 for half a day, and on June 30, a directive was sent to all educators to appear at the polling stations in business attire. The teacher also stated that the principal required photographs to confirm participation in the voting on the amendments to the Constitution.

On March 16, 2018, teachers and medical staff in Grozny reported an instruction to be present at polling stations on March 18 from morning until the end of voting in the presidential elections of Russia. Educators suggested that the presence of a large number of people was intended to create the impression of high voter activity. In the same publication, budget employees spoke about forced participation in the flash mob "I will go to the elections," which the authorities held on the eve of the voting.
