The number of injured in the drone attack on the Rostov region has reached 11.

Nine injured, including four children, have been hospitalized after a drone attack in the Rostov region, with the condition of one girl assessed as serious. About 40 residents of Rostov's apartment buildings are in a temporary accommodation center.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", four residents of Rostov-on-Don and three residents of the Aksai district were injured today in a drone attack. Drones attacked Rostov-on-Don, as well as the Aksai, Bagaevsky, and Neklinovsky districts.

According to the governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusary, 11 people were injured last night. . Nine people are in hospitals, including four children. "The condition of 8 patients is assessed as moderate. One girl is in serious condition; she underwent surgery," the governor reported, noting that two more injured individuals have been sent for outpatient treatment.

In Rostov-on-Don, a state of emergency has been declared in the affected buildings, and an operational headquarters is working. "Residents are accommodated in a temporary accommodation center. They are provided with everything necessary. The police have cordoned off all affected areas. A mobile reception point for citizens has been organized to provide assistance, including for document recovery," the head of the region informed.

In the Aksai district, private houses were damaged due to falling drone debris. Administration staff have begun surveying and assessing the damage.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. Thus, on August 16, five people were killed in a drone attack in the region, and one more was injured. On August 15, about a thousand residents of seven hamlets in the Millerovsky district were left without electricity after power lines were damaged in a drone attack.
