Also, the Chairman of the regional Government stated that by the beginning of the school year, 119 educational facilities affected in Dagestan as a result of the emergency situation have been restored.

"They are ready to accept children on September 1. By August 30, we plan to complete work in two schools built from prefabricated modular structures. Another 5 modular-type facilities are under construction: three schools, a kindergarten, and a cafeteria building. During the work, all necessary measures were taken to ensure that children continue their education," added Ramazanov.

According to him, by the end of the year, the restoration of two cultural houses in the villages of Adilyotar and Tagirkent is planned to be completed. Funding has been received from the federal budget in the amount of 54 million rubles and allocated to municipal entities.

Officials did not explain the reasons for refusals and canceled previously made decisions on the need for major repairs, the villagers complained.
