Villagers in Dagestan asked to build a sports hall.

Residents of the village of Pervomayskoye in the Khasavyurt district appealed to the president of the Dagestan Wrestling Federation, Omar Murtuzaliev, with a request to build a new sports hall.

The residents of the village of Pervomayskoye recorded a video appeal in which they asked for help with the construction of a sports hall for the development of local youth and for training.

The video appeal of the villagers was published by the Telegram channel "Voice of Dagestan," which has over 343 thousand subscribers. By 04:50 Moscow time, the publication had gained over 31 thousand views.

"Today is August 24, we are in the village of Pervomayskoye in the Khasavyurt district. I am the head of the village of Pervomayskoye, Shamil Jamaludinov. I am here with the residents of the village. We want to make an appeal to our benefactor Omar Magomedovich Murtuzaliev. First of all, we want to thank him for the support he provides to Dagestan. He has built many sports halls in the republic and supports our freestyle wrestlers," says the village head on behalf of the residents.

According to the head, the village has existed since the 1950s and has also endured the "Raduyev events," as a result of which it was completely destroyed. The young generation in the village lacks a basic sports hall where they could spend their leisure time. The leadership of the Khasavyurt district supports the villagers in this matter.

"We are the most remote village, we live on the border with Chechnya. The guys are forced to go to neighboring villages to train. Despite the lack of a sports hall, more than fifty people from our village have been champions of Dagestan in various sports," says Jamaludinov.

The head of Pervomayskoye emphasized that there are many people in the village who can take on the construction work, but it is very difficult to implement this without financial support.

"The residents of the village and I give you our word that as soon as the sports hall is built, within two years we will definitely raise one champion of Dagestan. Today, on the village day, we held competitions outdoors. Look at how many children around me want to train in the hall. We kindly ask you to support us in this matter," concluded Jamaludinov.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Ministry of Education and Science of Dagestan, in response to parents of students who complained about unsuitable conditions in a local school in Khasavyurt, announced the construction of a school building for 1150 students and the discussion of the possibility of building two more.
