The Moscow City Court kept blogger Remeslo in custody.

The native of Nalchik, blogger Ilya Remeslo, failed to have his arrest in the case of spreading fakes about the army recognized as illegal.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the native of Nalchik, lawyer and blogger Ilya Remeslo was placed in a St. Petersburg psychiatric hospital in March after the head of the "Akhmat" special forces, Apti Alaudinov, doubted that the criticism of the president published by a pro-Putin blogger was expressed voluntarily. On July 17, Remeslo was detained on charges of spreading fakes about the army motivated by political hatred, and on the same day, a court in Moscow arrested him for two months. On July 28, he was transferred from the pre-trial detention center to a psychiatric clinic, and on August 24, he was returned to the pre-trial detention center.

The Moscow City Court recognized the decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow to arrest blogger Ilya Remeslo, accused of spreading fakes about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as legal, TASS reported.

"The ruling of the first instance court is to be left unchanged, and the appeals are to be dismissed," the court's decision states.

The session was held behind closed doors and lasted about 20 minutes; journalists were only allowed in for the announcement of the final decision. Remeslo tried to say something to the journalists while waiting for the outcome, but the sound on the broadcast from the pre-trial detention center was turned off, writes "Cautiously, News".

After the session ended, Remeslo was disconnected from the video link, but they later decided to reconnect, as the judge did not ask if he understood the decision. "Thank you for your attention to my case. Russia will be free!" the blogger stated.
