As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by August 22, officials and law enforcement agencies officially named the names of at least 2081 killed fighters from Dagestan in Ukraine.

In the village of Urib, the native of the district, volunteer of the special military operation Aminamagomedov Magomed Akhmedovich, was buried, reported on August 22 by the administration of the Shamil district.

Magomed Aminamagomedov was born on February 8, 1963, graduated from Urib Secondary School. He lived in the city of Ulyanovsk and worked as a long-distance truck driver. In December 2025, he voluntarily signed a contract to participate in the special military operation. He was killed on August 13, 2026. He was posthumously nominated for the Order of Courage.
