The authorities of Chechnya reported the dispatch of another group of fighters to Ukraine.

A new group of fighters has been sent from Grozny airport to the military operation zone in Ukraine, reported the authorities of Chechnya.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the authorities of Chechnya regularly report on the dispatch of groups of fighters from the republic to the military operation zone in Ukraine, the last such report was published on July 26.

A new group of fighters, who underwent training at the Russian Special Forces University, has departed from Grozny airport to the special military operation zone. The head of the Chechen government, Magomed Daudov, addressed the fighters with parting words, reported the TV channel "Grozny" on August 13 on its Instagram page.

Recall that Magomed Daudov reported that 70,520 fighters have been sent from Chechnya to the SVO zone, of which 24,500 are volunteers, and 14,000 fighters are in the combat zone.

The data on the total number of fighters sent from Chechnya since February 24, 2022, do not account for the number of military personnel who have been discharged, are in barracks, on leave, or have left the combat zone as part of rotation. At the same time, the regular reports from the Chechen authorities about the dispatch of groups of fighters raise doubts that all of them are going to participate in the battles voluntarily, users of social networks pointed out.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that volunteers who arrived in Chechnya to sign a military contract complained in January 2025 that they were kept locked up for weeks to be sent to the military operation zone instead of local residents who paid to avoid service. According to human rights defenders, coercion to sign contracts is practiced in Chechnya, and security forces may create an 'exchange fund' from incoming volunteers from other regions.
