The FSB reported on the prevention of a terrorist attack in Krasnodar.

In Krasnodar, a suspect has been detained who, at the direction of Ukrainian curators, intended to blow up the car of a military enlistment office employee, reported the special service.

According to the FSB, the detainee, at the direction of Ukrainian special services, planned to blow up the car of an employee of the Krasnodar Territory military enlistment office. The man was detained while attempting to retrieve an improvised explosive device from a cache, which, according to the agency, contained explosives of Western manufacture.

The special service stated that in September 2025, the suspect, on his own initiative, contacted representatives of a banned Ukrainian terrorist organization via Telegram. Subsequently, he acted under the direction of a curator, TASS reported today, citing the FSB Public Relations Center.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that on July 10, the FSB reported the arrest of two suspects in preparing terrorist attacks against a high-ranking Defense Ministry officer. One of the suspects was detained in the Krasnodar Territory. According to the FSB, the alleged attack was planned to be carried out using a drone with explosives.

On June 17, the FSB reported on the detention of three individuals suspected of preparing terrorist attacks in Adygea, Krasnodar Territory, and the Tyumen region at the direction of curators from Ukraine. One of the detainees, according to the special service, was supposed to blow up a military personnel's car.
