Menaylo responded to Sobchak's appeal regarding the "Caucasian Community".

The head of North Ossetia assured journalist Ksenia Sobchak that he personally controls the actions of law enforcement agencies to protect the rights of a resident of Beslan who has been attacked by the "Caucasian Community".

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", journalist Ksenia Sobchak recorded a video message to the head of North Ossetia Sergey Menaylo, in which she demanded a response to the calls for violence against women made by members of the "Caucasian Community". Later, Telegram blocked the channel of the "Caucasian Community". The Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia stated that they are identifying the administrators of the channel after an appeal from one of the victims - a resident of Beslan, whose personal data was published with insults and threats by the "Caucasian Community".

The head of North Ossetia Sergey Menaylo privately responded to Ksenia Sobchak's appeal regarding the activities of the "Caucasian Community" and the threats from its members towards the women of the republic.

A written response to the official request was received by Sobchak from the administration of North Ossetia, and the journalist published a copy of the document in her Telegram channel.

"The head of North Ossetia Menaylo has taken personal control of the situation regarding the harassment of local women in the Telegram channel 'Caucasian Community' after my appeal. Thank you!" - she wrote. Sobchak added that all necessary procedural measures are being taken in the case of Karina Kodzaeva, who was subjected to harassment by the 'Caucasian Community'.

At the same time, the letter published by her emphasizes the "special role and status of women in traditional Caucasian society". According to this statement, women are endowed with a "high degree of personal responsibility as guardians of family values" and "spiritual and moral guidelines".

The "Caucasian Community" channel published threats against Menaylo before it was blocked. "Menaylo will apologize if he even tries to oppress worthy Ossetians! He will beg for forgiveness on his knees," the administrators of the channel stated, reacting to Sobchak's appeal to the head of the republic. "Caucasian Knot" also reported that in the spring, an anonymous group of women hacked and took over the account created by the ideologists of the "Caucasian Community" for the harassment of residents of North Ossetia. The hacked page, like the "Caucasian Community" channel, was created by the woman-hating blogger Armen Avanesov, who lives in the USA, and a member of "United Russia" Kirill Maximkin, who positions himself as a "people's figure".
