Long queues have appeared at gas stations in Abkhazia; according to commentators, the fuel dispensing volume is limited to 20 liters.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", fuel prices have increased in the border areas of Abkhazia with Russia. At some gas stations, prices have risen by more than 10 percent, residents of the republic reported on Telegram on July 13.

Abkhazian Telegram channels are publishing videos of queues at gas stations in Abkhazia.

For instance, on the evening of July 29, videos appeared from the "Podorozhnik" gas station, where dozens of cars lined up along the roadside; in particular, the Telegram channel "Emergency Abkhazia" published the video.

"Dispensing 20 liters, the traffic jam is already over 1 km," wrote user And What.

"Yesterday I filled up for 90 rubles. The queue is small in Sukhum," commented a user with the nickname Abkhazia Kindyg Guest House 'Nakhodka', clarifying in another comment that it was about AI-95.

"The queue is unclear. There are queues at Rosneft, but they are small. There are many tourist cars. Prices are more than 10 rubles higher than in Adler. There is gasoline," believes Evgeny Kai.

"As gasoline runs out at AZID and small gas stations, queues form at larger ones, such as Rosneft and 'Podorozhnik'. And there will be a rush," replied Zurab Apsny.

User bata published a photo of today's queue, which, according to him, is at the Rosneft gas station.

"In Sukhum, there is one gas station each for 'Podorozhnik' and Rosneft, while AZID has more... Accordingly, everyone goes to fill up where it is available," he added.

Today, the same Telegram channel published a photo of a long queue along the roadside. "A queue of cars has formed in Kashatka (a village near Sukhum - note from 'Caucasian Knot')," the video description states.

"Every summer is like this; it will be even worse in August — peak season!" expressed Elena's opinion.

"Yesterday everything was fine for them, but today it's all gone. They are doing it on purpose," believes User Gios.

"Honestly, why be outraged, and who cares that people stand for hours at gas stations for some 20 liters!" commented the lord.
