Investigators in the Andropov district have initiated cases against five local teenagers for failing to report a friend who is a supporter of a terrorist organization. In total, 13 acquaintances of the young man have already been charged with this accusation.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", seven teenagers and a 21-year-old young man from the Andropov district are accused of failing to report a minor supporter of a terrorist organization. The cases of the eight accused have already been sent to court.

A new group of accused in failing to report includes four teenagers aged 14-16 and one 18-year-old young man. According to investigators, all five learned in 2025 that their acquaintance, a minor, was participating in the activities of a terrorist organization banned in Russia.

The teenagers were also aware that their friend was persuading other people to participate in the terrorist organization. "The suspects did not report this information to law enforcement agencies," the regional Investigative Committee stated.

The investigation into the case against one of the defendants, a 15-year-old boy, has already been completed and sent to the prosecutor's office, while investigative actions are still ongoing with the other four, the official Telegram channel of the agency indicates.

The actions of the alleged participant in the banned organization "will also be legally assessed," the Investigative Committee noted. The message does not specify what preventive measure has been chosen for him.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that in November 2025, a 20-year-old resident of the Urvansky district of Kabardino-Balkaria was accused of failing to report. The investigation stated that he was acquainted with the participants of the attack on law enforcement officers in Nalchik and knew about their plans.
