Restrictions on refueling by dates have been lifted in Astrakhan.

The system for refueling cars on even and odd days has been canceled in Astrakhan, and city gas stations are returning to round-the-clock operation.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by July 14, the fuel shortage problem in Astrakhan had worsened, local drivers reported. A week later, the situation changed: on July 21, the governor of Astrakhan region announced an increase in the gasoline sales limit to 40 liters per person and the opening of all "Lukoil" gas stations in Astrakhan. Today it became known that "Gazprom" has completely lifted restrictions at its gas stations in Astrakhan, Volgograd, and Rostov regions, as well as in Krasnodar and Stavropol territories.

The system of refueling restrictions by dates and car numbers, which had been in effect in Astrakhan since July 9, has been canceled as of today, said the governor of Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin.

"The system of refueling cars by even-odd numbers of state registration plates depending on the date is canceled, and gas stations are transitioning to round-the-clock operation," the official wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Babushkin, the conditions for refueling cars in the region have "essentially normalized." "Most refueling complexes have been put into operation, the refueling time has decreased. The surge in demand has been alleviated," he explained.

The governor confirmed that the limits on gasoline sales at "Gazprom" gas stations have been completely lifted. At the same time, limits remain at "Lukoil" gas stations - 40 liters for gasoline, 60 liters for diesel.

Recall that due to the fuel crisis, drivers in the southern regions of Russia have started to massively convert their cars to gas, leading to long queues at auto repair shops. Analysts previously noted that the long wait forces motorists to turn to "gray" installers who do not guarantee the safety of the equipment.
