Due to the failure, the operation of pumping stations was suspended, and residents of Tbilisi, Rustavi, and Mtskheta were warned about possible water supply issues. Abkhazia also remained without electricity, as the Ministry of Energy claims, due to a "systemic" accident at the Inguri Hydroelectric Power Station.

The Ministry of Energy of Abkhazia reported the complete restoration of electricity supply in the republic, which the agency briefly announced on its Telegram channel. However, one of the commentators noted that "there is still no electricity in Pitsunda".

In Georgia, electricity supply is being restored in stages.
