A soldier from Adygea was killed in the special military operation zone.

Murad Khut was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 141 fighters from Adygea have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by July 2, officials and security forces officially recognized at least 140 fighters from Adygea as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

A memorial plaque for the Order of Courage holder Murad Khut was unveiled on the house where he lived, the city administration reported.

Murad Khut served in the engineering troops, participated in the construction of bridges across the Volga, and was awarded the rank of junior sergeant. In March 2025, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In the special military operation zone, he served as a drone operator, an engineer-explosive technician, and a squad commander. On November 3, 2025, Guards Sergeant Murad Khut was killed; he was 33 years old.

Thus, the number of military personnel from Adygea officially recognized as killed in the combat zone in Ukraine has reached 141.

"Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. In December 2023, the administration of Adygea reported the death in the special military operation zone of Maxim Dziabko.

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, according to the material of "Caucasian Knot" "Three Comrades Served: How Authorities Deny Benefits to Families of Killed Volunteers", which describes the stories of the killed fighters.
