Social media users criticized the idea of introducing new restrictions at gas stations in Rostov-on-Don.

The authorities of Rostov-on-Don proposed to the regional government to introduce gasoline sales on even and odd days depending on the car's number and to limit the sale from 10 to 40 liters per person. The task of the authorities is not to create new difficulties for the citizens, but to ensure the supply of gasoline, users of social networks pointed out.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on July 11, it became known that a limit on fuel sales at gas stations was introduced in the Rostov region. An individual can purchase no more than 30 liters of gasoline for one vehicle. Governor Yuri Slyusar instructed to involve volunteers and Cossacks in duty at gas stations. On July 15, he stated the need for 60 thousand tons of fuel for harvesting. Commentators on his Telegram channel inquired why the authorities do not limit the rise in gasoline prices, as at some gas stations the price of gasoline approached 170 rubles per liter.

The authorities proposed measures to reduce queues at gas stations

The mayor of Rostov-on-Don Alexander Skryabin announced a number of proposals due to the gasoline shortage following a meeting of the operational headquarters.

In particular, he proposed to allow refueling on even days of the month for cars whose numbers start with 0, 2, 4, 6, 8; on odd days — 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. "It was also proposed to set a minimum gasoline sale volume of 10 liters, and to increase the maximum sale to 40. The sale of diesel fuel will range from 10 liters to 60 liters. This will reduce the frequency of drivers' visits to gas stations. The period from 03:00 to 07:00 in the morning will be allocated for servicing vehicles of emergency, operational, and municipal services, public transport, and other special vehicles," Skryabin writes in his Telegram channel.

According to him, these proposals will be submitted for consideration to the Operational Headquarters of the Rostov region for fuel supply for further decision-making.

Users did not support the mayor's ideas
