Protests in Georgia continued for the 595th consecutive day.

Supporters of Georgia's Eurointegration held their daily rally at the country's parliament today, demanding for the 595th time to change the political course and free political prisoners.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the demonstrators gathered on Rustaveli Avenue on July 14, voiced their unchanged demands for a return to a pro-European political course and the release of political prisoners.

Today marks the 595th day of daily protests in Georgia. Supporters of Eurointegration, as every evening, gathered on Rustaveli Avenue, in front of the Georgian parliament building, reports Publika.

According to photographs published by the outlet, protesters gathered at the main entrance to the parliament, holding flags of Georgia, the USA, and Ukraine.

Photographer Mo Se published a report from the rally on Facebook*. According to the photos, the atmosphere on Rustaveli Avenue is calm. Protesters are holding placards demanding the release of political prisoners and a return to the path of Georgia's Eurointegration.

Judging by a video from Mtavari posted on Facebook*, several hundred people participated in the rally. Some were conversing in small groups, while many sat on the steps of the parliament and on benches along the sidewalk.

Since November 28, 2024, participants in the protests in Georgia have been demanding new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners. Law enforcement has conducted harsh crackdowns on protests, using tear gas and water cannons, and detaining protesters. Thousands of people have faced administrative prosecution during the protests.
