The sharp rise in fuel prices in the Rostov region outraged internet users.

The governor of the Rostov region announced the need for 60 thousand tons of fuel for the harvest. Commentators on his Telegram channel asked why the authorities do not limit the rise in gasoline prices, as at several gas stations the price of gasoline approached 170 rubles per liter. Prices are also rising in other regions of southern Russia - gasoline has significantly increased in price in Kalmykia and Stavropol.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on July 11, it became known that a limit on fuel sales at gas stations was introduced in the Rostov region. An individual can purchase no more than 30 liters of gasoline for one vehicle. Governor Yuri Slyusar instructed to involve volunteers and Cossacks in duty at gas stations, as well as to organize informing drivers about the availability of fuel and the operating hours of gas stations. Residents of the Rostov region, commenting on his instructions in Telegram, suggested introducing an electronic queue, abandoning nighttime closures of gas stations, and opening additional cash registers.

The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, named ensuring gasoline for the harvest as a priority.

"The main question is ensuring farmers with diesel fuel and gasoline. This is critically important now, when the harvest is in full swing in our southern regions. We are not talking about reserves, but about the volumes that are going 'straight from the wheels' to refuel the equipment. It goes out to the fields every day to harvest. The Rostov region provides an average of 10% of the total harvest in the country. The grain needs to be taken out of the fields and its sale ensured. For the harvest, farms in the Rostov region require 60 thousand tons of fuel," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
