Today, vessels in the Taganrog Bay were again subjected to a drone attack, reported the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar. "A tragedy occurred – a person was killed, a sailor of a technical vessel," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

A total of four vessels were attacked, one of which was a tanker carrying methanol. There is no threat of spillage or leakage of the substance. The vessels sustained minor damage. More than 15 drones were destroyed, the governor added.

According to him, the drone attacks also affected Taganrog, Azov, and Neklinovsky districts.

Recall that the Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. In particular, on June 27, a drone attacked the museum complex "Sambek Heights", injuring 12 people.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries, including those located in southern Russia, a fuel problem has arisen. Thus, on June 10, a fire occurred at the oil refinery in the village of Afipsky, and on June 5, an oil depot in Ust-Labinsk caught fire, requiring the evacuation of residents of nearby houses. At the oil refinery in the village of Ilysk in the Seversky district, a fire broke out on June 2 as a result of a drone attack. It was extinguished the same day.
