56 villages in Dagestan are cut off from transport communication after the rains, in most of them "Dagavtodor" promises to open traffic in two days. Meanwhile, in the Charodinsky district, where the situation remains the most severe, residents had to carry a seriously ill person almost a kilometer to the doctors. Social media users were outraged by what they saw, pointing out that the authorities should have at least ensured air transportation.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", residents of 13 houses in the village of Majalis in the Kaytag district were evacuated due to dam damage. About 30 people were evacuated in the village of Tashkapur in the Levashinsky district due to the river overflowing its banks. In several districts of Dagestan, as a result of heavy rainfall on July 7-8, flooding, road and bridge washouts occurred.

In the Charodinsky district, where roads were washed out due to the rains, a seriously ill person was carried for more than a kilometer to the doctors, writes "Chernovik".

"Dagestanavtodor" reported today that 56 villages in eight districts remain without transport communication after the rains. Restoration work, according to the agency, is being carried out around the clock.

Thus, in the Aghulsky district, traffic remains closed on the road "Access from the Mamrash – Tashkapur – Arakansky bridge to the village of Burshag". Due to partial destruction of the stone-arch bridge, transport communication with the village of Burshag has been interrupted.

In the Akhvakhsky district, two road sections are closed. On the road "Karata – Lologonitl", the roadbed has been destroyed, resulting in a lack of transport communication with the village of Lologonitl. On the road "Tad-Magitl – Tlibisho", the roadbed and pipe crossing have been destroyed, leading to the cessation of transport communication with the villages of Tlibisho and Tlisi.

In the Gunibsky district two sections of roads are closed. On the road "Gunib – Kumukh", the approaches to the bridge (section 18+400 km) have been destroyed and landslides have occurred, interrupting transport communication with the settlements of Sogratl, Shangoda, Bukhta, Shitli, Megeb, Kamakhal, Palisma, Uri, Mukar. Transport communication with the village of Obok has also been interrupted. Traffic is expected to be restored according to a temporary scheme by 20:00 on July 12, subject to normalization of weather conditions, the agency reported.

In the Dakhadaevsky district, there is no transport communication with the villages of Kunki, Ashty, Dirbakmakhi. The restoration of traffic according to a temporary scheme is planned by 20:00 on July 12 for the villages of Kunki and Ashty, and by 20:00 on July 13 for the village of Dirbakmakhi. A pedestrian passage will be organized until the work is completed.

In the Rutulsky district on the road "Luchek – Ikhrek – Arakul", due to the rise in the water level in the Kara-Samur river, sections of the road and the bridge support have been destroyed, interrupting communication with the villages of Ikhrek, Katrukh, and Arakul. On the road "Rutul – Luchek – Jinikh", washouts, rockfalls, and landslides have led to the cessation of transport communication with the villages of Gelmets, Tsakhur, Mishlesh, Jinikh, Kalyal, and Mukakh.

In the Tlyaratinsky district, the road "Tlyarata – Kamilukh" remains closed. Washouts of the road surface, damage to the approaches to the bridge, and rockfalls have led to the cessation of transport communication with the villages of Choroda, Salda, Ulgheb, Kamilukh, Betelda, Gerel, and Genekolob. The opening of traffic according to a temporary scheme is expected by 20:00 on July 12.

In the Unzukulsky district, traffic is completely closed on the road "Shamilkala – Temporary settlement". The reason is the ongoing washout of the road surface after the emergency discharge of water from the Irganai HPP dam. Traffic with the Shamil and Tlyaratinsky districts is organized via alternative routes. Road services will begin emergency recovery work after the water pressure from the discharge tunnel of the Irganai HPP decreases.

In the Unzukulsky district, authorities have declared a state of emergency due to damage to the road surface of 110 meters and disruption of water supply in the villages of Unzukul, Irganai, and the urban-type settlement of Shamilkala, the district administration reported on its Telegram channel.

In the Charodinsky district, the most difficult situation remains. On the road "Tsurib – Archib", there is no transport communication with 18 settlements: Mukutl, Tsenev, Baginur, Kuchrab, Chvadab, Dusrah, Kosroda, Chanab, Chitab, Shalib, Khitab, Childab, Kudatl, Alchinub, Khilikh, Koserib, Archib, and Kalib. In addition, communication with the villages of Gilib, Tsemir, Mugurukh, and Tsenev has been interrupted. The timeframe for restoring transport communication has not been specified in the message from the road service.
