The government of Dagestan praised the pace of construction of houses in Mamedkala.

Houses for those affected by the flood in Mamedkala are promised to be completed by mid-August by the contractor. The pace of construction has increased, with 52 houses fully poured. Families left homeless have already chosen their future housing, reported the government of Dagestan.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", during a visit by officials on June 13, there was a minimal amount of equipment at the construction site in Mamedkala, where houses for flood victims are being built. The authorities of the republic promised strict control over construction deadlines, but what was seen raises doubts about the reality of completing the houses on time, noted Dagestani Telegram channels.

The Chairman of the Government of Dagestan, Magomed Ramazanov, visited the construction site in the village of Mamedkala again, where a new residential quarter is being built for families who lost their homes due to the emergency. "In the last two weeks, the pace of construction has noticeably increased. Today, finishing works, landscaping, and construction of engineering networks are being carried out simultaneously at the site. 52 houses have already been fully poured, and residents have made their choice of future housing and regularly come to the site to personally monitor the progress of the work," the administration of the head of Dagestan reported.

Each house has three bedrooms, a spacious living room, a heating system, and essential communications are connected. Only the gas connection and landscaping of the adjacent territory remain to be completed. The contractor assured that the houses would be ready by mid-August, the authorities informed.

The message also notes that applications for compensation for damaged and lost housing have been accepted in the settlement.

Attached to another message are photos of the construction site from June 20 and July 4, in the fresh photo, the majority of houses have their frames fully ready.

"They can do it. By the way, a Dagestani company is building it," commented the publication "Novoe Delo" in its Telegram channel.
