In the village of Richa, on the premises of the Richa School, a memorial plaque was unveiled in memory of school graduate Gamza Gamzayev, who was killed during the military operation, the Agulsky District Administration reported today on its Telegram channel. He was 21 years old, according to the information on the memorial plaque.

Earlier, a memorial plaque to Ramazan Kurbanismailov, also killed in the SVO zone, was unveiled at the same school.

Thus, at least 1,945 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

At least 4,494 soldiers from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,607 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" is maintaining a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list is based on data officially released by government officials and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "North Caucasus Military District Statistics: Casualties Are Growing in Southern Russia".

As a reminder, Dagestan ranks first among the regions of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts in the number of those killed in the military operation, whose names have been officially released by the authorities.
