Grozny Mayor Khas-Magomed Kadyrov reported on his Telegram channel that several people suffered carbon monoxide poisoning and were taken to the hospital. The victims are not in danger. He also stated that, at the direction of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, restoration work will begin soon, with specialists beginning repairs and purchasing all necessary furniture. While restoration work is underway, "residents of the building will be temporarily relocated to rented apartments."

Kadyrov also denied rumors of deaths in the fire, saying these reports are untrue.
