As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by May 2, authorities and security forces had recognized at least 1,913 fighters from Dagestan as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Aslan Galimov was killed in a military operation, the Laksky District administration reported today. He was born on January 3, 2000, in the village of Shchara in the Laksky District. He then entered the engineering department of the Dagestan State University of National Economy (transferred to correspondence). From November 2019 to November 2020, he served in the army. Immediately after his military service, he signed a three-year contract and served in Budyonnovsk. On February 24, 2022, Aslan left for the Northern Military District. On April 28, 2025, his regiment was sent to the village of Demidovka in the Belgorod Region. The following day, April 29, Aslan was killed, according to a message on the district administration's Telegram channel.

Thus, at least 1,913 soldiers from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
