A music festival in Sochi has been canceled following the Tuapse attack.

Following the drone attack in Tuapse and a new fire at the local oil refinery, the organizers of the VK Fest festival, scheduled for June 21 in Sirius, have announced its postponement until 2027.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," this morning authorities reported that a drone attack caused a fire at the Tuapse oil refinery. Due to the fire, residents of nearby buildings have been evacuated to temporary accommodation.

The 2026 VK Fest in Sirius has been canceled; the venue will only host the festival in 2027. According to the organizers' official statement, all purchased tickets remain valid—they simply need to be kept for admission to next year's event. Those planning a refund must complete the appropriate application on the project's official website, according to BFM.ru.

"We understand that this may impact your plans, so we would like to clarify: all tickets remain valid for next year; there is no need to renew them," the organizers stated on their VKontakte page.

Despite the schedule changes in southern Russia, VK Fest 2026 will proceed as scheduled in other cities. The festival will be held in Kazan (June 7), St. Petersburg (July 4-5), and Moscow (July 18-19). Organizers also intend to announce a new city soon that will be included in this year's itinerary to replace the cancelled Sirius venue.

The "Caucasian Knot" also reported that drone attacks disrupted sporting events in Sochi in February and March. Specifically, the match between FC Sochi and Spartak Moscow was postponed due to the threat of a drone attack.
