Three soldiers from the Astrakhan region have been identified as killed in a military operation.

Alexander Ogurtsov, Sergei Salnikov, and Bulat Tunekeshev from the Volodarsky District were killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 734 soldiers from the Astrakhan Region have been recognized as killed.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by March 31, at least 731 soldiers from the Astrakhan Region had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

In the Volodarsky District, awards were presented to the families of the soldiers killed in the military operation, the district administration reported on its Telegram channel on April 18.

Alexander Ogurtsov, Sergei Salnikov, and Bulat Tunekeshev were among those killed. Their biographies are not included in the publication.

Thus, at least 734 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Northern Military District Statistics: Casualties Mounting in Southern Russia."
