Six fighters from Stavropol were killed in Ukraine.

Authorities of the Aleksandrovsky District presented awards to the relatives of servicemen killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 935 soldiers from the Stavropol Territory have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by April 1, at least 929 soldiers from the Stavropol Territory were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Vasily Kondaurov, Sergei Ovchinnikov, Vladimir Odintsov, Alexander Salomatin, Viktor Sychev, and Rustam Mamatov were killed in the military operation. Their relatives received state awards on April 16, Alexander Shchekin, head of the Aleksandrovsky District of Stavropol, announced on his Telegram channel. The official did not provide details about the fighters' biographies or deaths.

Thus, at least 935 fighters from Stavropol have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Airborne Military District Statistics: Casualties Mounting in Southern Russia."

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on Channel One do not guarantee state support for the families of those killed, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Three Comrades Served: How Authorities Are Denying Benefits to Families of Killed Volunteers," which describes the stories of the slain soldiers. "The combat veteran's certificate was issued only because Vasily managed to serve three months in the Airborne Forces under contract," said the widow of one of them.
