Yegor Kovalenko, killed in the military operation in Ukraine, is buried in the Chertkovsky district. He was born on March 31, 1985, in the Tyumen region. His family later moved to the Rostov region, where Yegor graduated from high school and learned the trade of bricklayer. In 2025, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and was killed on December 29, 2025, according to a message today on the Telegram channel of the Chertkovsky District Administration.
