Kadyrov reported on aid to flooded Chechen villages in Dagestan.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya delivered humanitarian aid from the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation to the flood-damaged villages of Adillotar, Kadyrotar, and Tutlar in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the first day of the flood, March 28, 468 homes were flooded in the village of Adillotar in the Khasavyurt District. The flooding caught the villagers by surprise, and they were forced to hastily evacuate, leaving their belongings behind, according to residents of Adillotar and Tutlar. According to them, in the first hours, it was mainly fellow villagers who helped each other, and administration representatives arrived the following day. As of April 15, many homes in Adillotar remained flooded, and people lost farms and hundreds of livestock.

The head of Chechnya reported on a "large-scale charity event" by the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation in Dagestan. Humanitarian aid was sent to residents of three flood-damaged villages in the republic's Khasavyurt district – Adillotar, Kadyrotar, and Tutlar.

"More than 4,000 people live in them, and 457 of 538 households were destroyed by the disaster," Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Chechnya's Deputy Prime Minister and head of the republic's Ministry of Nationalities, Akhmed Dudayev, brought humanitarian aid to Dagestan—food, building materials, generators, and water pumps. According to Kadyrov, he met not only with villagers but also with Dagestani officials, including members of the Khasavyurt District administration. However, the Chechen leader's post made no mention of the results of these meetings. Dudayev was accompanied on his trip by award-winning athlete Artur Beterbiev.

Kadyrov concluded his post with a wish for the "brotherly peoples of Dagestan to cope with the damage from the floods," without mentioning that Adilotar, Kadyrotar, and Tutlar are populated primarily by Chechens. On April 9, when UFC champion Khamzat Chimaev, close to Kadyrov, reported on aid to Dagestan, this was also not mentioned, despite the fact that more than two-thirds of the convoy sent by Chimaev was headed specifically to the Khasavyurt district.

The pro-government Instagram* page chp.grozny_95, posting a video from Dudayev's trip to the Khasavyurt district, noted that the official met specifically with the Chechen population.

“During a meeting with residents of the flood-damaged village of Adilyotar, Dudayev stated that they had arrived on the instructions of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov to familiarize themselves with the situation on the ground and see what measures the local authorities were taking,” noted one reader of the "Caucasian Knot." He also added that Chechens living in Dagestan had previously appealed to the leadership of the neighboring republic, calling for assistance for the villages of Adilyotar, Kadyrotar, and Tutlar.

In the North Caucasus, floods caused by heavy rains have been ongoing since late March, and they have become some of the most destructive in recent years. Dagestan and Chechnya have been hit hardest by the disaster, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Spring Flooding in the North Caucasus - 2026".
