What documents are needed?

When submitting an application, the applicant provides:

• an identity document;
• documents of the representative (if the application is submitted by an authorized person);
• documents on the birth of a child or marriage registration, if they were issued abroad;
• documents confirming the dependency of the deceased (If we're talking about payments to the family of the deceased) .

Social security receives the remaining documents independently through interdepartmental cooperation (SMEV): a commission report on residence in the emergency zone, a report on the loss of property, investigative decisions on harm to health or death, documents on guardianship or trusteeship ⁴.

Lawyers from the "City is Ours" movement and the "Housing and Utilities Monitor" project emphasize that the absence of some documents is not grounds for refusal. Social Security is obliged to request the missing information independently.

Municipal commissions continue to compile lists of victims, but submitting an application is mandatory – payments will not be assigned without it.
