On March 12, the mayor of Buinaksk, Makhach Abdulmuslimov, presented the awards of soldiers killed in a special military operation to their families. The awards were handed over to the relatives of Ruslan Akilov, Magomed-Rasul Aybazov, Rashid Magomedkaziev, Khadzhimurad Yusupov, and Murat Bekelyaev, the city administration announced on Telegram.

Details of the soldiers' biographies and deaths were not provided in the statement.

Thus, at least 1,861 soldiers from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
