The names of the North Ossetian soldiers killed in the SVO zone have been released.

Alan Ktsoyev and 11 other fighters from the Ardon district were killed in the North Ossetian Military District. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 560 fighters from North Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by February 25, at least 548 fighters from North Ossetia had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Ardon resident Alan Ktsoyev was killed in the military operation in Ukraine, the Ardon district administration announced today on its Telegram channel, announcing the date and location of the memorial service. At least 4,297 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,454 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and security agencies, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Northern Military District Statistics: Losses Are Mounting in Southern Russia."

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on Channel One do not guarantee state support for the families of those killed, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Three Comrades Served: How the Authorities Are Depriving the Families of Killed Volunteers of Benefits," which describes the stories of fighters from other regions.
