Authorities have once again reported no emissions in Anapa.

Three thousand tons of contaminated sand have been disposed of in a week, and there are no new fuel oil emissions in Anapa and the Temryuk district, the Russian government reported.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," an assessment of the official beaches of Anapa and the Temryuk district for their suitability for the resort season will be conducted in late spring or early summer. Authorities denied the reports of emissions at official beaches, stating that petroleum products are present, for example, in protected areas and, in particular, on the Bugayskaya Spit.

No new oil spills were recorded over the past week. Monitoring of the Black Sea, as well as the coasts of the Krasnodar Krai and Crimea, continues, the Russian government announced today.

According to authorities, more than 3,000 kilometers of coastline have been cleaned since the beginning of the work, including repeated cleanups. More than 185,000 tons of contaminated sand and soil have been collected. An additional 3,000 tons of waste were disposed of over the past week. In total, nearly 179,000 tons of contaminated sand and soil have been disposed of by specialized organizations or recycled. "The combined force and resources involved in eliminating the consequences of the emergency consists of 775 people and 185 pieces of equipment.

As a reminder, on April 18, 2025, Rospotrebnadzor declared 141 beaches in Anapa and nine beaches in the Temryuk district unsuitable for recreation.
