A Kuban resident complained that she has not been provided with the housing she is legally entitled to for over five years. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin ordered a criminal investigation.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has launched an investigation into a complaint filed by an orphan from Krasnodar Krai.

The woman reported that she has been on a waiting list for housing since 2020, but has not received it. Appeals to various authorities have been unsuccessful. Since the girl is not being provided with housing, she and her husband are forced to rent an apartment, which is why they are experiencing financial difficulties, Utrenny Yug reported on February 1.

Bastrykin instructed Andrei Maslov, head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnodar Krai, to open a criminal case and report on the results of the investigation.

Previously, "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported that in early January, an orphan from the Astrakhan region complained that she had not been provided with housing for over ten years. Bastrykin took an interest in the case.
