According to residents, there has been no water in their homes for about a week, and numerous appeals to Gorvodokanal and the city administration have remained unanswered. Residents were also outraged that the mayor's office is not informing them of the progress of repairs. The prosecutor's office promised to provide a legal assessment of the situation. Work on the water main supplying Kaspiysk has been completed, and water supply will resume overnight, the city administration announced on the evening of January 9. Residents were outraged by officials' explanation that increased water consumption led to the accident.

At 5:00 PM Moscow time today, Kaspiysk authorities reported that there was no water in the ohms, as the reservoirs were still filling. "Repair work, as we previously reported, has been completed. However, it will take time before the water supply is fully restored. The water tanks in apartment buildings are being filled with water both from the system and using specialized equipment. Currently, eight units of equipment from the water utility and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are in operation, and city donors have also provided assistance," the Kaspiysk administration reported on its Telegram channel.
