Residents of Stavropol complained about the government's work.

During the New Year holidays, residents of the village of Temibezhsky in the Novoaleksandrovsky District of Stavropol were left without electricity and water due to government inaction. They demanded the resignation of the head of the territorial department.

According to the villagers, from December 30th until January 4th, 2026, the head effectively withdrew from addressing the problems when bad weather damaged a power line in Temizhbeksky, leaving residents without power and water.
The village hospital, kindergarten, and school operated autonomously. The head of the territorial department failed to organize warming stations at these institutions for the elderly, large families, and those in dire straits, freezing in their homes.

Water was not supplied to Temizhbeksky, the villagers noted.

"We went and melted snow. "This is already a form of survival, a mockery of people," they said in a video message published by Bloknot Stavropol.

Massive requests to improve the water supply were ignored, as was timely road clearing, which also paralyzed the work of water trucks.

"This person has proven herself ineffective, incompetent, and indifferent to the problems of residents. She doesn't care about the people," the villagers note, demanding the dismissal of the chief.

The Temibezh territorial department did not comment on the lack of electricity, water, or the villagers' demands on its Telegram channel.
