Four drones were shot down over southern Russia.

Air defense forces shot down three UAVs over the Rostov Region, and another over the Krasnodar Region. One private home was damaged in a village in Donskoy.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on January 3, Salsk and three districts of the Rostov Region were attacked by drones, and several private homes were damaged in the village of Semeno-Kamyshenskaya.

On the evening of January 3, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel the destruction of 103 drones launched from Ukrainian territory over regions of the country.

According to the ministry, three fixed-wing drones were shot down over the Rostov Region, and one drone was shot down over the Krasnodar Territory. Four drones were also shot down over the Sea of Azov. The largest number of UAVs—18—were neutralized over the Moscow and Kaluga regions.

Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel on the evening of January 3 that an air attack had been repelled in the region, with drones destroyed in Taganrog and the Neklinovsky district. According to him, in the village of Nikolayevo-Otradnoye in the Neklinovsky district, the blast wave blew out a window in the vestibule of a private home.
